I am a solicitor and lead the HR & Employment Law Team. I have over 20 years’ experience of dealing with all aspects of HR and employment matters and specialise in advising individuals and companies on all employment law matters.
I represent clients across the UK and in a variety of industry sectors in all their HR and employment law needs including settlement agreements, unfair dismissal and redundancy, discrimination and contracts and policies.
I pride myself on getting to know my clients and understanding what they want to achieve – showing them how to apply the law to provide practical and workable solutions to sometimes complex and stressful problems, getting the most favourable outcomes for them.
I have won various accolades including Yorkshire lawyer employment lawyer of the year award and short listing for the Yorkshire and Humberside Institute of Directors business adviser of the year award. In 2013, I awarded the ABDN Professional of the Year award and in 2015 I had national recognition, being the only employment solicitor in the region to have a UK top rating in the consumer ratings website, Vouchedfor. We have recently won the Sheffield Business Awards Excellence in Professional Services 2016.
